Have questions?
How is it powered?
The ThermaMat requires a power outlet. It uses an AC power cord which is 2 metres long and included in the package.
You may need an extension cord if using your ThermaMat on a dining table or for a buffet.
Is it safe to use on all countertops?
The ThermaMat is safe to use on heat-resistant surfaces such as granite, quartz, marble, Caesarstone, and stainless steel. Its silicone "spikes" elevate the mat, minimizing heat transfer to your countertop.
Important: For surfaces that are not heat-resistant (e.g., laminate, wood, or plastic), it’s recommended to use a heat-proof mat underneath to protect them. See our Premium Heat-Proof Underlay
What is the safe temperature to keep cooked food?
To keep foods safe to eat, minimise the time that it is stored in the "danger zone".
The temperature danger zone is the range of temperatures at which foodborne bacteria can grow rapidly. This range is between 5°C and 60°C.
In other words, when cooked food drops below 60°C, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. Keeping your cooked food at 60°C or hotter will ensure it is safe to eat.
If you are keeping food warm on the ThermaMat™ set the temperature at 60°C or higher to ensure it stays safe.

What are the temperature settings?
You can conveniently choose from 3 adjustable temperature settings - 60°C, 80°C, and 100°C.
Note: When turned on, the default temperature is 60°C.
How does the timer work?
The ThermaMat features an optional auto-timer that lets you "set and forget." You can choose from 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours.
Note: When the timer is turned on and no other time is selected, the default setting is 1 hour.
How do I use the Child Lock feature?
Once the power is on, simply press and hold the "Child Lock" button for 2 seconds to activate it. A red light will indicate that the function is enabled. To deactivate, press and hold the button again for 2 seconds.
Can I cook food on it?
No, the ThermaMat is designed to keep food warm, not for cooking. It’s best to save the cooking for the stove!
What else can you use it for?
The ThermaMat is incredibly versatile and perfect for:
- Keeping cooked food warm for hours
- Defrosting frozen items
- Proving bread and other baked goods
- Warming milk bottles
- Keeping tea and coffee hot
- Warming towels and face masks for a spa-like experience
